RSS Criticises influence of English language |

Pune : Cirticising the influence of English language in the country, Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangha (RSS) Sarasanghachalak K. Sudarshan today said that education should be given in mother- tounge and English should be taught only as a foreign language.
Speaking on the occasion at a programme arranged by local RSS unit, Sudarshan said that India has an ancient and rich heritage of languages and culture, which need to be preserved and must be promoted. |

He also claimed that many invention which was on Europeans name have already been mentioned in our sacred books like Veda and appealed everyone to stay away from unwanted attachment to the western culture and English language, which destroying the Indianess. Sudarshan giving example of Japan said that this country has progressed economically and socially without any influence of English language.
He said that Japanese people proudly use their mother tongue in every aspect of life and not face any hurdle in progress. Sudardhan said since 62 years of Independence, English language still have substantial influence on Indian people.
He said that parents should not encourage their children to send to convent schools, as English is not our language and should treat as a foreign language. He also said that their must be efforts to encourage the use of Hindi language in
communication and official language as well.
