"We received information that students of K.L. Singh Degree College and M.N. Inter College were solving questions papers of the under-graduate examinations of the Poorvanchal University. We raided the two centres and nabbed the children," said K.R. Sharma, sub divisional magistrate of Sagari division.

However, the students were, let off after questioning and the raiding team seized over 80 answer sheets and question papers. The invigilators were dictating answers to the students and the answer-books were to be handed over to the candidates after completion, Sharma added.

"We are also looking for the invigilators who were supervising this and we have also come to know that they have taken money from the original aspirants who had paid them to get the paper solved," the official added. No arrests have been made so far.

"We have lodged a case against the invigilators and the management of both the institutions. Strict action will be taken against the colleges," district inspector of schools B.R. Chaudhary told reporters.
