Description:
Cochin University of Science and Technology is a renowned university of India and is situated in Kochi. The institute provides biotechnology courses in the Masters level which is of 2 years duration. The university has attracted many students for the course in post-graduate level. The university is well known for conducting entrance tests for biotechnology courses.
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate needs to be a citizen of India for this university. He or she should have scored a minimum of 65% in their Higher Secondary Examination. The aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years as on 31st of December of the previous year of the present entrance examination.
Selection Procedure:
A written entrance examination is compulsory for the candidates. There are reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC. Candidates should have a good command in physics, mathematics and chemistry in their higher secondary examination. If the candidate is selected in the entrance examination then he or she needs to go through group discussions and then an interview, only then candidates will be selected for the course.
