Description:
SRM College of Science and Technology is a reputed college of India which is situated in Chennai. It provides biotechnology courses in the engineering level. The college is under Tamil Nadu University. The college conducts entrance tests for the biotechnology courses.
Eligibility Criteria:
First and foremost the candidates must be citizens of India. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 65% in their 10+2 Examination. The aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years as on 31st of December of the previous year of the present entrance examination.
Selection Procedure:
The aspirants need to appear a written entrance examination for the course. Candidates should have a good command in physics, mathematics and chemistry in their 10+2 examination. If the candidate is selected in the entrance examination then he or she needs to go through the group discussions and then an interview, only then candidates will be selected for the course. There are reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC candidates and extra meritorious candidates.
