JECA or West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination MCA is conducted every year for admission to various colleges in the state of West Bengal in MCA courses. This exam is conducted by the West Bengal Board of examination and test centre are scattered along the length and breadth of the state. The best part is that, there is no dearth of AICTE recognized colleges, offering MCA courses, in the state, which is also an add-on.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed his graduation or bachelor’s degree from any of the recognized institute.
- Candidates appearing for the final exam are also eligible to write the test.
- Candidates of Indian origin are only eligible to write the test.
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates totally depends on their performance in JECA, which is two and half hour duration exam. The examination is divided into two parts, Part A consists of Aptitude Test and is of one hour duration and Part B consists of Mathematics and is of one and half hour duration. Total marks allotted for both the parts are 100.
