The Jalandhar College of Hotel Management is a government college that offers both Diploma as well as Bachelor’s Degree in this course. The college takes entrance exam, on the basis of which the college takes admission to the Bachelors course. Admission in the Diploma course is taken on the basis of marks obtained by the individual in their Bachelor level course.

Eligibility Criteria:

•    Aspirants must be a citizen of India.
•    Since the entrance exam is of state level, hence domicile status of the individual candidates plays an important role in the admission.
•    The applicants must be a resident of the state of Punjab for more than 8 years.
•    The age limit for the aspirants is from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 24 years as on the date of entrance exam.
•    The aspirants also have to secure a minimum of 35% marks in their Higher Secondary Examination.

Selection Procedure:

Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance exam. Those aspirants who have secured the highest marks are called for the final admission to this course. The aspirants who belong to the schedule caste and schedule tribe are given special reserved quotas as per the laws of the Indian Constitution. The aspirants who have secured the highest mark in this exam are given a scholarship for the entire course as per the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
