BCECE which stands for Bihar Combined Engineering Competitive Exam is considered as one of the most mainstream exam in India for admission to various Engineering colleges in Bihar including Bhagalpur College of Engineering-Bhagalpur, Bihar College of Engineering-Patna and Regional College of Engineering. Thousands of young aspirants study day and night seeking admission in different prestigious colleges under Bihar University.
Eligibility Criteria
• Students are required to pass in the science discipline in +12 standard including Physics; Chemistry and Mathematics. A test of one hour is held for each subject, i.e., a total of three hour is dedicated for the completion of this test.
• Aspirants seeking admission under BCECE should be below 22 years and above 17 years as on 1st July of the given year of the exam.
• A special mention of reservation criteria is made in the prospectus mentioning 14%seats for S.C., 10% for S.T., 10% for backward classes and, 1 percent seat reserved for armed personnel.
Selection Procedure
After the declaration of results; students are directly admitted in all colleges under the board in the 1st counseling. Various student get admission in 2nd or sometimes even in 3rd counseling which is a rare phenomenon in the state of Bihar. Students are called in for counseling based on the marks obtained in BCECE.

• Sale of application form: Mid-February to mid-March.
• Last date for submission of complete filled-in application form: Mid-March
• Entrance date, First stage: Mid-April
• Entrance date, Second Stage: Early June
