Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test i.e. UPCPMT is an examination which is conducted for taking admission into various medical courses in various government and approved, recognized Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathic colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The examination is conducted on behalf of the Government of Uttar Pradesh by the University of Lucknow. The number of seats is very less compared to number of students appearing each year for the examination and this number is increasing year by year. The various courses which are offered through UPCPMT are MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS etc.
Eligibility Criteria
• Candidates must be an Indian citizen having domicile of Uttar Pradesh
• Candidates must have passed class 12 examinations with English and PCB as main subjects.
Selection Procedure
Selection is done through an exam which is conducted in two parts. The first paper contains questions from Botany and Zoology and the second paper contains questions from Physics and Chemistry. The timings for both the papers are same i.e. two hours each.

• Last date for submission of complete filled-in application form: second week of March 2009
• Entrance date: mid of May 2009 (proposed)
