Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences Loni 2009 for MBBS / BDS Courses

1. Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences conducts All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) to admit students for various courses offered by the University for the academic year 2009-10, will conduct AICET for admission to M.B.B.S and B.D.S Courses in the month of May 2009.

The All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) - 2009 will be conducted at various places in India for selection of candidates for admission to courses mentioned above and offered by the constituent colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences viz Rural Medical College and Rural Dental College.

Date & Time of Entrance Test Examination: Saturday, 2nd May, 2009 from 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM

Intake Capacity

The intake capacity for various courses as approved by the respective councils is given in the Table.

PIMS AICET 2009 Duration of Course:

MBBS - Four and half years degree course with compulsory one year rotatory internship.
BDS - Five years degree course.

The medium of instruction for all courses is English. The duration of the course is as specified by the respective councils and UGC.

PIMS AICET 2009 Mode of Entrance Test:

The AICET - 2009 will be of three hours duration. There will be one question paper for the CET consisting 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQ’s), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark.

There is no negative marking.

The AICET 2009 will be conducted on Saturday, 2nd May, 2009 from 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM. at the designated centers.
