Description:
The Islamia College of Hotel management is a private institute that is situated in New Delhi. The college holds a yearly entrance exam for the course of the hotel management at Bachelor’s Level. The college takes this entrance exam at the national level at different cities all around the country.
Eligibility Criteria:
The aspirants must be a citizen of India. He or She should have secured a minimum of 60% in their Higher Secondary Examination. This criterion is lowered to 40% for the minority class candidates. The age range of the general class aspirants should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 24 years as on the date of the entrance examination. The candidates should also have a minimum of three co- curricular activities certificates at the 10+2 level.
Selection Procedure:
Each candidate has to appear for a written entrance exam. Only those candidates are called for the final admission who has fared extremely well in this entrance exam. The college also takes admission through the Reservation Quota. The aspirants who belong to the minority class as per the laws of the Indian Constitution are given the reserved seats. The college also has reserved seats for those who have excelled in any of the different streams of life.
