Description:
NUJS stands for National University of Juridical Sciences. The University in situated in the state of West Bengal with a view of providing legal education to the students who want to pursue LAW courses. It is one of the good universities in India for the LAW courses. The University does not conduct any private examination for the admissions which depends on the performance of the students in the CLAT exam. The university has total 125 seats, 78 of which are general, 15 for SC, 8 for ST, 2 for physically challenged, 4 for foreign nationals and 18 seats are sponsored by NRIs.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates must have passed class 12 from any of the recognized institutes with a minimum of 50% in aggregate. • Maximum age for the candidates appearing for the CLAT exam must not be more 20 years. • SC/ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 2 years.
Selection Procedure:
The admission to this university is based on the CLAT exam. Students who score good in this exam has more chance of getting admission into this university.
