AFMC or Armed Forces Medical College is situated in Pune and is considered to be amongst the top notch institutes for medical studies in India. Doing his or her M.B.B.S degree from this elite institute is unique achievement in itself, as the seats are all limited. Out of 130 seats, 105 are for boys and 25 are for girls. Competition is tough, no doubt, but you can achieve it by your hard work and determination.
Eligibility Criteria
* Candidate should be an Indian citizen or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal or an Indian origin individual, who have migrated to India from any other foreign country with the prime intention of settling in India, permanently. Must not be married and at the same time should be medically healthy and fit as per the norms laid down by the ministry of defense, Government of India.
* He or she must have cleared all his subjects as a regular candidate and must not have got less than 60 percent in aggregate in three subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, taken together. At the same time, his marks in English and any of his science subjects should not be less than 50 percent.
* Must have reached the age of 17 years on 31st December 2009 and must not have reached a maximum of 22 years on the same date.
