Description : |
The Centre for Development of Advanced Technology i.e. C-DAC, Mumbai conducts CST i.e. Competence in Software Technology Examination. Other bodies and organizations which are associated with C-DAC for conducting CST examination are Scientific R&D Institution of government of india Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and Department of Information Technology. This examination is meant for the graduates from all fields who want to pursue their higher education in the field of Software Technology.
Eligibility Criteria
• Candidates appearing for the exam must have completed their Bachelor’s degree from a government recognized University. Candidates having Diploma in any field can also apply.
• Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the exam but at the time of taking admission they have to show the evidence that they have completed the course.
Selection procedure
There are four papers, each of 1 hour duration containing MCQs. For each correct answer 3 marks will be awarded and for each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.
Important Dates
• Last date for submission of complete filled-in application form: mid January 2009
• Entrance date: mid February 2009 (proposed)
• Last date for submission of complete filled-in A-2 application form: last week of February 2009
• Result declaration: 1st week of March 2009
• Selected candidates interview: May 2009
