Description:
The Institute of Hotel Management is a government based Institute that offers Bachelor’s Degree in all of the major Hospitality courses. The college takes an annual entrance exam for the admission process in these courses on a state level. The college also offers Diploma Degree in these courses. The college also holds other entrance exam for other courses too.
Eligibility Criteria:
• An aspirant must be a citizen of India, and must be a resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh for more than twelve years.
• The age of the aspirants should range from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 24 years as on the date of entrance examination.
• The aspirant does have to secure a minimum mark of 40% in their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent test.
• The aspirants who belong to the schedule caste and schedule tribe classes have to secure 10% less as compared to the general class in this criterion.
Selection Procedure:
Aspirants have to appear for a written entrance exam. The candidates who have secured high marks in this entrance test are then called for a personal interview. The aspirants are then selected for the final admission based on their marks in both the entrance test as well as in their Interview. The applicants who belong to the schedule caste and schedule tribe classes are given reserved seats during the admission process.
